- This is the most traditional and simple way.
- Frozen shrimp you just need to put in the cooler for 7-8 hours.

With this method, shrimp meat can retain its natural sweetness and freshness. However, it will take quite a long time because it takes overnight for the shrimp to be completely thawed.
Defrost with salt water
- Place the frozen shrimp in a pot of pre-mixed brine,
- Soak the shrimp in the mixture for about 30 minutes.
- Check with your hands whether the shrimp are completely thawed.
- The water can be changed continuously if you want the shrimp to be thawed faster.
